About the Collective Humanity Authors
Elizabeth Suggs is co-owner of the indie publisher Collective Tales Publishing, owner of Editing Mee, and is the author of several stories, two of which were in a podcast and poetry journal. She is the president of two writing groups, one being part of the LUW. She’s a book reviewer and popular bookstagramer. When she’s not writing or reading, she’s playing video/board games or traveling the world.
Jonathan Reddoch is co-owner of Collective Tales Publishing. He is a father, writer, editor, and publisher. He writes sci-fi, fantasy, romance, and especially horror. Ashley Amber is a writer, author and dancer with 15+ years of experience in all her fields. Ashley is best known for her self-published fantasy/romance novelettes The Flip Side of Sad and The Flip Side of Love, and has worked as an entertainment writer for several websites including SoapHub, MJ’s Big Blog and Collider. As a queer asexual author, Ashley loves writing for and about the LGBTQIA+ community. As a former pro ballroom dancer, when she’s not writing, you can find Ashley posting dance videos featuring her own choreography and tutorials.
Natalya Monyok is an avid lover of all things horror, choosing to get lost within the madness instead of succumbing to the mundanities of the mortal world. She is currently seeking representation for her psychological horror novel, Mortal Minds. When she’s not putting her characters into terrible situations, she’s been known to train Brazilian Jiu Jitsu relentlessly. She is a blue belt in the martial art and hopes to achieve her black belt and open up her own academy one day. She lives in the suburbs of Utah with her loyal dog Ares, close to both Salt Lake City and the beautiful mountains.
Ginevra Mancinelli was born in 1992 in Rome, Italy, to a Filipino mother and an Italian father. Growing up between France and Switzerland, she studied Literature, Foreign Languages and eventually graduated from Law school in Lausanne, Switzerland. Abandoning the idea of becoming a magistrate after witnessing the system’s idleness in a case involving racial prejudice against a black student, Mancinelli spent two years rebuilding herself and chose to pursue her passion for writing. Mancinelli writes from her perspective particularly when it comes to mixed races, age gap, stepfamilies, bisexuality, eating disorders, and depression. Her books are own voice.
As a child, Austin was always told he had an overactive imagination. When he grew up, that imagination transformed into storytelling and his passion for writing. He also finds joy in other creative outlets, such as drawing, event organizing, and supporting his friends with their artistic passions. Writing has always been an important part of his life, and this project reminded him that it is always important to find happiness in the things you enjoy doing.
Originally from California, Stephanie is a queer poet and writer for multiple online publications. Her works focus on love, sex, relationships and transitions of all kinds. When not writing, she can be found flying around the world, worshipping at the ocean, or meditating on a yoga mat. She is currently working on her first novel.
H.R.R. Gorman fashions dark stories by night and makes drugs by day as a pharmaceutical process engineer. He grew up in the Blue Ridge mountains of North Carolina and was the first person in his family to attend and graduate college. He obtained his bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD in chemical engineering and now has come back to North Carolina with his nuclear engineer husband and vicious attack-Pomeranian. In between processing pharmaceuticals and delving into fiction, Dr. Gorman likes playing Dungeons and Dragons. Ericca Chavez is a writer based in Utah. She’s been featured in Spillwords Press, Cajun Mutt Press and Timber Ghost Press. Inspired by horror, the supernatural and the paranormal; she creates short stories, poetry and even artwork centered around these dark topics. Loulou Farquhar aka Trixie Bloom is an author, podcaster, artist, and comedian, known for her captivating storytelling and unique perspective. Bloom’s work explores themes of identity, love, and the complexities of the human condition. She passed away suddenly in the early hours of 4th of May 2022 at the age of 55, at home in La Alpujarra, Andalucia, Spain. Sadly, she passed before a Collective Humanity was published.

T.L. Beeding was born and raised in West Sacramento, California. She wears many hats; a cancer survivor, a mother, a writer, and a medical assistant. She is the author of They Come at Night and Other Horrors, and has had her work featured in several anthologies and magazines. When she is not writing, T.L. seeks misadventure with her boyfriend, daughter, and two cats at their home in the Hudson Valley. Avery (Ava) Davis is an author who was born, raised, and grew up in the city of Bountiful. She still lives there today, with her two dogs and a whole lot of cats. Chris is a Health Service Research Manager and lives with his wife Hayley and Border Collie in Pembrokeshire, Wales, UK. He is a self-confessed flash fiction addict with some publication and competition success. A recent obsession of his being writing Novella-In-Flash. He also hosts his own lash fiction website.
Michaela Rae Velarde is an emerging author with a rich background in English Literature and Multimedia Design from the University of Utah. Starting her journey at the Salt Lake Tribune, she honed her storytelling skills, later authoring grants and marketing materials for the nonprofit sector. Michaela excels at crafting compelling content, a skill she’s now channeling into her debut novel, which navigates the complex themes of power imbalances and overcoming adversity. Residing in a historic bungalow in the heart of Salt Lake City, she enjoys spending time with her children, capturing pictures with her camera, and advocating for equity within her community.
